According to several resources, hearables are the fastest-growing segment
in the “smart wearables” industry. The growing popularity of the hearables
segment is forcing industries to reconsider their current products. Experts
and industry watchers shared that wireless earbuds (hearables) are quickly
replacing the current well-known Smartwatches. Moreover, they also
believe that future hearables will be even more accessible, affordable, and
advances.
The current hearable market is even showing subsegments such as hearable
dedicated for sports, premium hearables, or simple hearables with music
functionalities. What if we have a device that can be adapted and
customized to all of these segments?
FreeSense and Auric (Germany) are awarded with a cooperation
development fund from DigiPro to develop a prototype of FreeSense’s
CareBuddy hearable. Both companies put their strengths together to
develop a state-of-the-art and fully connected hearing aid that also enables
vital signs monitoring. Using remote care services, the CareBuddy
contributes greatly to long life vitality and healthy aging.
